To order any of our Value hosting packages, please fill-out our Online Virtual Hosting Order Form, and your account will be ready within 0 to 6 hours after we receive your order and process your payment. Please note that orders with new domain registration may take upto 12 hours for processing. Also, due to the standard propagation time for InterNIC updates, it may take 24-72 hours for a new domain to be functional across the Internet.

Value Hosting Feature Explanation

Your Own Domain Name (www.yourname.com)

We configure the DNS entries for your domain name and host name (yourname.com and www.yourname.com) in our servers when we setup your account.

If you already have a domain name, you would need to modify your domain with the appropriate registry with our nameserver and IP address information for moving your domain to our servers. If you are not sure how to modify your domain, please contact us and we will provide the necessary information. Most registries do not charge anything for domain modification, but requires that only the Registrant or Admin Contact for a domain initiates or approves domain modification. You can verify Registrant or Admin Contact for your domain by using our Domain Lookup tool. Domain move does NOT involve any change in domain ownership or domain registrar.

If you order a new domain name, then we register your domain name with your ownership with an appropriate registry and charge you only $14.95/year fee (one-year registry fee included!). This fee is non-refundable, requires pre-payment and is in addition to any hosting and setup fee.

If you would like to register your domain yourself or if you are ordering a foreign domain name, then we will provide our nameservers and technical contact information that you would need to register your domain with any appropriate registry. Please be advised that accurate entry of our nameserver information in the registry database is required before your domain name will work. Also, please note that the domain registry fee would apply, irrespective of the ISP or webhost you select to register or host your domain with. Most registries charge a non-refundable $30.00-$35.00 per year of domain registry fee and require pre-payment of the fee.

All Value accounts come with one FTP account and unlimited FTP access to our servers, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and 365 days a year, so you can update your website any time you like using any FTP client software.

Free Traffic Included

All Value hosting accounts come with free unlimited hits. If our estimate suggests that you might be approaching your monthly traffic limit, we will notify you in advance so you will never get a surprise bill for exceeding traffic limit. If your account exceeds the limit, you will be asked to pay for extra traffic at the rate of $1.00 per 500 MB of additional traffic per month, and you might be advised to switch to a higher traffic account. For most customers, this won't be a problem as you will be able to monitor your site traffic with graphic statistics software installed in your account.

SSDs (Solid State Drives) are new generation of disks that use flash memory and are about 12 to 24 times faster than most traditional HDDs (Hard Disk Drives).  Compared to many other hosting providers, we use premium SSD storage for your website, which means your website would load much faster.

POP3 Email Account

All Value hosting accounts come with multiple POP3 email accounts. A POP3 account is a password-authenticated protocol based real email account that can receive and store email messages. Your default POP3 account will be yourname@yourdomain.com. The POP3 account can be accessed from anywhere in the world through any POP3-client software (like Windows Live Mail, Outlook, Outlook Express, Netscape) or third-party web-based email browsers. Also, any POP3 account can be the destination of multiple email aliases that you could configure with Global Web Control Panel available in your account.

Unlimited Aliases with Catch-All Address

Value hosting allows you to use unlimited email aliases with a catch-all address for your domain. For instance, you will be able to use addresses like webmaster@yourdomain.com, sales@yourdomain.com, admin@yourdomain.com and anynames@yourdomain.com. Email messages sent to anything before @yourdomain.com will automatically go to your default POP email account, or to your preferred external account that you have from your ISP or from any other provider. You will be able to manage your catch-all address using Global Web Control Panel LE 24 hours a day.

Email Redirection

With email redirection option available to Value hosting accounts, you will be able to have messages received at selected addresses forwarded to separate destination addresses. For instance, you may decide to forward emails for webmaster@yourdomain.com to you@yourdomain.com, messages received at sales@yourdomain.com to be forwarded to john123@yahoo.com, and messages for support@yourdomain.com to go to mary@herisp.com and so on. You will be able to create, delete and update the forwarding addresses instantly using Global Web Control Panel LE 24 hours a day.

Email Autoresponders

Value hosting accounts offer you the ability to have autoresponders for specific email addresses. Using autoresponders is a handy way to provide your clients requesting further information on a specific issue related to your business with an instantaneous response to their emails. For instance, when any of your prospect or client sends an email to info@yourdomain.com, the server can email your pre-designated message to the sender's email address automatically. You will be able to create, edit, update and delete the autoresponders instantly using Global Web Control Panel LE 24 hours a day.

Detailed Traffic Statistics

For all Value accounts, we offer you access to detailed traffic statistics for your website with an easy-to-understand graphic interface. You will also have access to the detailed referrer statistics for your site. If your visitors used links somewhere else in the internet to reach your site, then the referrer statistics will display those links for you. This is greatly useful for businesses that would like to relate their marketing strategies and advertising campaigns with incoming traffic and their sources. You will also have access to raw server log files for your site.

Your Own CGI-bin

The Value hosting accounts allow you to execute your own CGI applications. Your account comes with your own cgi-bin for placing your scripts, and we make sure that you can use cgi-scripts in your account. However, configuration and or debugging CGI-scripts is a time-consuming task, and we won't be able to help you with that unless you use our web design or programming services.

Counter Script

All Value accounts have a basic access counter script available for your use. You can simply include an html tag in your web page to call the script, and it will print an image with the total number of times the page has been loaded by the visitors. You will be able to change the initial count and the number of digits that you would like to have the script to print for you.

Formmail Script

Value accounts come with a CGI script that allows you to receive inputs entered by visitors in a web form located in you website. Web-based form is a great way of having orders, comments, inquiries or feedback from your visitors sent to your email address in a structured and professional way.

HTTP Redirection

You will be able to add a simple meta-tag provided by us to have any page in your site redirected to any other page in your account or to any other URL in the internet using HTTP redirection feature.

Password Protected Web Directories

You will be able to use our own proprietary Global Web Control Panel LE to instantly password protect any of your web directories. This will require visitors to the protected part of your website to enter username and password before they can view the contents in that directory. As the list administrator, you will be able to add or remove subscribers from your list(s), view or download a copy of the list, get a count for the total number of subscribers in the list, lookup any specific address in a list, and send an instant message to all the subscribers from a password protected web page. Each mailing list can include upto 100 email addresses, and each email message to a mailing list can be upto 50k.

Listservers

A listserver allows multiple people who have subscribed to the same listserver to share opinions related to a specific topic, activity, hobby or organization to interact through instant email messages. Qualified Value accounts that support the listserver option will allow the administrative user of Global Web Control Panel LE to instantly convert any mailing list into a listserver. This will allow any subscriber to send messages to all subscribers to the listserver by simply sending emails to the listserver. Each listserver can include upto 100 email addresses, and each email message to a listserver can be upto 50k. The listserver option is currently available for Value A accounts only.

Server Side Includes

All Value hosting accounts allow you to use Server Side Includes in case you are using any CGI script that needs SSI. This allows you to use SSI directives in .shtml pages. Use of SSI requires additional server resources, since the .shtml files are also parsed for SSI commands.

Online Commerce Solutions (Optional)

Your virtual hosting account can be configured for ecommerce functionalities with online payment processing gateways, such as PayPal, LinkPoint, CyberCash etc. These are third party services that can process your customers' credit cards, charge cards and checks online, and deposit money to your account. In most instances, the party you sign-up with will provide you with the details of configuration instructions that you can implement in your website.

Secure Server Access

Secure servers allow encrypted transport of information over the web. This feature is considered very significant for certain data transfer needs including for credit card transactions and confidential communications. Qualified Value hosting accounts allow you to use SSL in your account.

Mime Types for 100+ Applications

We have mime types for 100+ applications, including shockwave flash, midi, mpeg, au, wav, wrl, vrml, qt, mov, zip and much more, pre-installed in the servers hosting the Value accounts. This allows your website to use any of these file types in your Value account. When visitors browse through your site containing any of these application files, their browsers will be prompted to load the appropriate viewers/players to open the files associated with the mime-types.

Online Manual and Support

All Value accounts come with a comprehensive password-protected online manual that you will be able to access to get more information on how to use and manage the features for your account. Also, you can contact our support staff if you have questions regarding any feature of our server that relates to your account. We usually answer 80 percent of support questions in less than 4 hours, between 8 AM in the morning and 11 PM at night.
